Chocolate chocolate chocolate chocolate chocolate cookies.

So much chocolatey goodness is crammed into these cookies. Dark, milk, white, caramel, and cocoa.

And then there are walnuts.

They are so fudgey and decadent, crisp and chewy, buttery and soft.

I couldn’t eat just one, and neither could my friends.

Enjoy with Misty Mountains Jersey cream milk; the stuff with the cream floating on top.

Soooooo good. ^_^

This blog is all about my forays into baking. I have been baking for most of my life and in spite of this, I actually love it. You know what I'm talking about. You get frustrated too, when your sponge goes flat, or you are short of some vital ingredient for the sweet that you are currently in the middle of making.

I'm not going to write about how the scent of freshly baked bread reminds me of xyz, or go on about treasured memories and whatnot, or somehow form a vague link between my baking and the current hot topic or injustice in the world. I don't actually talk like that, so why would I write like that? Besides, there are plenty of blogs that already touch on that.

This is about real cooking. It's about using real, fresh ingredients, no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, avoiding GMO's and pesticides and fake rubbish. You can get that prepackaged stuff at the store, so why would you bake your own treats with those things?

It's about having to stop what you're doing to tend to the baby, making substitutions, distraction, unicorns and rainbows.

Think of the children.
